Pite Havsbad church was inaugurated in 1992 and is located on Pite Havsbad's camping area. It is essentially a tourist church, but many local residents also find it soothing. The goal is for all people to feel at home in the church. Our visitors come from many different parts of the world, but most of them are Swedes and Norwegians.

The church is open to all, regardless of faith, and the dialogue has a given place in our church. Many visit the church to light a candle, see the beautiful building, feel the atmosphere, buy a cup of coffee and homemade bread or eat a good waffle with jam and whipped cream.

The activities at Havsbadskyrkan are a collaboration between various Christian congregations and churches in Piteå, as well as the Sensus study association. The Norwegian Seamen’s Church (Norske Sjømannskirken) will also be present for much of the summer. For more information and any updates, please check the sermon schedules in the local newspapers. From June 30th to August 8th, different children’s activities are offered weekly. There are also opportunities for drawing, crafts, table tennis, badminton, and other outdoor activities.
